I want to book a session, what do I do now?
Just fill out the contact form at the bottom of this page or send me an email at kaeo@kaeoyoshikawa.com. Once we have decided on a date you will receive a link to review and sign your contract. Shortly after receiving your signed contract, your invoice will be sent to you. A 50% deposit is due to secure your session date (This is non-refundable but comes off your total session fee). And then the remainder of the session fee is due prior to your session.
What happens after my session?
You can expect your photos 1-2 week(s) after your session. I will email you a link to your online gallery which usually has a coupon code to your own personalized online store where you can order prints, canvases, framed prints, albums, etc.
Do you travel?
ABSOLUTELY! California has some incredible and breathtaking scenes to use as our backdrop, and I am happy to travel for sessions. Anything outside of a 20 mile radius of 93612 will have a travel fee.
Sessions have the use of only ONE location, why?
Time is precious for everyone. I have found that the session becomes stressful when we have to drive around to different locations during a shoot -- packing up, finding parking, one of us getting lost or stuck in traffic, etc. It's just not fun, especially with littles. When choosing the perfect location for a client, I make sure that there are several spots to shoot within that one location. This gives the images variety, as well as giving clients peace of mind that we will not have to spend time + patience fully relocating. But, if you want to shoot in more than one location or if you have a location in mind, let me know when you’re booking a session and we can hammer out the details.
Do you give out RAWS (unedited) photos?
Nahhhhh. You chose me to be your photographer because you love my editing style and work. If you don’t like it, maybe we aren’t a great fit and that’s okay.
What happens if we need to cancel/reschedule our session?
If you have already booked a session with me your original 50 percent retainer is non-refundable. In order to book a new date, another non-refundable retainer fee will need to be paid. I promise I am not trying to add insult to injury here. I do this because I would have rejected other sessions for that same date and time.
